Katie's running the Plymouth 10km

Katie Shepherd, our dental hygiene therapist, is tackling the Plymouth 10km run to raise money for children with cancer.Katie isn't a runner so this is going to be a real challenge for her. We're supporting and sponsoring Katie and we know she'd love it if you could to.What do dental therapists doShe says: "I've set myself the challenge of running the Plymouth 10k in order to raise money for Children with Cancer."As a non-runner (think Phoebe from Friends!) I'll be training very hard, through wind and rain no doubt, to get myself fit enough for the event."My very generous practice, Hartley Dental, have sponsored me for the run and so in gesture to both them and the children in mind it is only right to dress appropriately- Tooth Fairy style!"The picture you can see on my fundraising page is donated by my gorgeous friend Lexi and is of her very beautiful baby girl Jessica who is currently showing us all how strong and brave she is."Please spare a few pennies for this very worthy cause and feel free to come and support me and everyone else on the day."We'll be cheering Katie on and hope you will too. You can find out more information and support Katie here. We'll make sure there are plenty of pictures from the run so you can see how Katie does!
